Competitiveness challenges
The competitiveness of countries leads to the well-being of the people who live in them, and the competitiveness of companies to their long-term sustainable growth and development. In a world where the development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence allows individuals, companies and countries to compete with each other regardless of their location and previous successes or failures - the topic of competitiveness becomes more important than ever!
Adria Business Forum 2026 brought to Zagreb a leading world authority and Nobel laureate in the field of competitiveness of states and nations, who presented live through his lecture and moderated interview the most important knowledge and findings from his research and work in that field. In addition, he answered questions about what Croatia could learn from all this in order to improve its competitiveness and long-term development prospects.
The Forum also featured distinguished speakers and representatives of leading Croatian companies who presented their views on the competitiveness of Croatian companies on the global stage. The topic of the impact of artificial intelligence on the competitiveness of companies was also discussed, in terms of the paradigm shift that AI brings and its major impact on competitiveness and business results.
